Who we are

The idea of creating Bar Chat Candás arose (you won't believe this) from three people who were chatting and drinking cider, and not together! These three people felt the need of a place in Candás where to meet in a relaxed setting to practise English. We talked to a couple of bars/pubs that were open on Fridays at 7 p.m. to see if this idea was feasible, and decided to go on with it.
The only purpose is to practise English -some of us with the only intention of not forgetting what we already know, and others with the aim of improving. There is no hidden economic reason behind this project.
One of the regular attendants is an English teacher who will be able to monitor and guide the other attendants. However, we hope that some native speakers join us at least occasionally.
